just play the good stuff!

just come out of a 2 hour session trawling the mess and noise website, and realised that a) people who take minor spelling mistakes seriously are tossers, and b) when it comes to bands, i'm one of those annoying people who never ventures further than the hit radio single. i then go to shows and wonder why i dont recognize any of the songs. like..why can't the band just play the good stuff? the stuff i know? the stuff i no-va? (hee hee)

such a show will be electric six tomorrow night at the corner. already i'm happily humming 'danger danger..high voltage' in eager anticipation. i then proceed to 'at the gay bar, gay bar', impressed with my extensive electric six knowledge.

all this fantastic build up...just to fall bitterly when i realise there's more to life than being gay and on fire. pity that.
